Settlyd's Asset Division Worksheet

Once all financial data has been properly entered and categorized into a Settlyd matter it is time to review the Asset Division Worksheet.

Open Settlyd's Asset Division Worksheet for your matter and organize the data in accord with the terms of a settlement offer, an agreement, order, etc.

Now look to the grey bars at the bottom of the worksheet:

  • Net Estate represents the summary of each column.
  • Percentage Net Estate shows the exact percentage each party will recieve.
  • Noted Division is the pre-set desired division at the top of each column
  • Amount to Noted Division will always be from the standpoint of the client. It will show exactly the extent to which the totals vary from the Noted Division. In the example above, Sally is short of a 50-50 by $18,500.
  • Cash to Balance is the sum total of money each party receives that includes money  that may have been included in the Cash to Balance line item.

We hope you find this Tip helpful. Be well and stay safe,
